Anyone who keeps an eye on the news or has a passing glance at a newspaper knows the current mess of the industry. From publishing false information to hacking scandals it is pretty obvious that the current model is failing.

Solution?

That’s where Glecto comes in. Glecto is a news publishing platform that allows users to post what they know about stories and other users to make additions. Stories and additions can then be up or down voted based on their accuracy and importance.

Why Is This Better?

The reason Glecto is a better solution to current news mediums is that it puts the user (public) in control instead of a governing body. Users decide which news is published and which news is the most important (therefore the content that users most likely want to read should be easily available).

You can subscribe to news channels (or create your own!) and individuals to keep up to date with the information that you want to read from your favourite writers. You can also contribute by adding your own information.
